I don't usually go for the "adored" t-shirts but for the past few days I couldn't get a hexagon appliqued shirt out of my mind! These are 1/2 inch hexes hand sewn together using the English paper piecing method and then they're hand appliqued onto the shirt. There wasn't anything wrong with this shirt (I just had 2) but I could see these covering stains and stuff.
Up close! Some of my favorite fabrics! I used a few teeny squares of Lite Steam-a-Seam and a glue stick to hold it in place while I hand sewed them on. I loved making the teeny, tiny stitches!

Oh my gosh, this is awesome! Looks like something straight out of the Anthropologie catalog. Now you've made me wish I could sew! I love the colors you chose and the little gnome. :)
