Where do I begin! There's a lot going on right now...stuff I need to post about that will come later.
Mom went home this morning; we had to leave at the butt crack of dawn to get her there on time. Just got a call from her and she's landed and is on the way back to her house. We had lots of fun! Yesterday we went to Astoria; got lost, had lunch and walked around a bit. We weren't all that impressed. We had an idea of what Astoria would be like and it just wasn't what we were expecting! The streets were hard to navigate, there was virtually no parking, and we couldn't find the much talked about barking seals (for Jerrett) even though we were right on top of them!
The best part of Astoria was a nice lunch at the Silver Salmon Grille and the Lunar Boy Gallery where we saw some great art (some I recognize from blogs; Amy Ruppel is going to have an exclusive show there in May). I picked up an Uglydoll and a little chocolate milk softie by My Paper Crane. The Ugly Doll's name is Wage...I've been wanting one!! I'm going to have to buy more from the website.
I'm supposed to post about my What's Cookin' Apron Swap but my pictures for that are on my other machine. If you'd like to see what I sent you can visit My Longest Year. Jerrett received the most wonderful package from Catrina of Bumblefunck. Everything is so wonderful from the rollercoaster themed apron/magnets/recipe cards and the other goodies! The best part was the custom kid sized spatulas! They have his name on them!! I just about died when I saw them!! They're SO cute! I'll post pictures tomorrow!
Jerrett's allergies are going to drive me crazy! This whole allergic to corn thing is the worst! Everything has corn in it! I was checking out this website today and there's even toiletry products, medicines and even some dryer sheets that have some form of corn in it! Jerrett only eats certain things but can't have any of it because it has some form of corn in it! I don't understand how he could be allergic because he's never had a reaction and he's been eating foods and drinks that have some form of corn in them all his life!! I'm going to have to talk to his doctor when he goes back because he'll end of starving! I started a "daily agenda" book today of what he eats, when he takes a bath, and when I put the cream on him. Today was his first day (the pharmacy didn't have the creams until today) putting the creams on and I was dreading it!! Thankfully it didn't burn when I put it on. I'm supposed to give him a bath 2 times a day, no soap, and apply the creams...the doctor says it will clear up so cross your fingers!
Ugh! I just spilled my chocalate shake all over my floor and up the wall!! I know I'm doing too much now! Hope everyone is well. I'll post about my What's Cookin' tomorrow.

I got a whole mess of ugly dolls from my sister! And I have Wage!
And that is really weird about the corn. Maybe it's a mild allergy that isn't noticeable??
